Hayes White is no stranger to the therapeutic impact of creativity when it comes to looking after our mental health and wellbeing. Hayes is passionate about raising awareness and challenging stigma, as well as exploring her own creative interpretation of the world around her.

Growing up and living in East London, I’ve always had a large selection of green spaces to visit however, as an adult I rarely ventured far.

In 2022, I went to a lovely local park to take photos with my local Recovery College. Looking across the lake I felt a sense of calmness and contentment. It felt very emotional, all my worries faded into the distance.
